Blood Thirsty Oranges🍊

Ever tried a Blood Orange? They’re truly a taste sensation! Smaller and tougher-skinned, with a vibrant crimson flesh that gives them their name. Once a royal delicacy, they’re now grown predominantly in southern Italy and increasingly in demand worldwide. The Australian season runs from June to October, with the Queensland variety particularly sought after internationally for its sweet flavour with a raspberry twist. Enjoy them fresh, or in everything from marmalade to gelato, sorbet, and dressings. They’re our top pick at our fruit and veggie stalls!
