What’s in Season: Spring
Spring is a wonderful time of year to change up the menu and embrace bright, fresh flavours.
From September to November, choose in-season produce such as asparagus, artichokes, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, avocados and mandarins, among others.
Make use of abundant spring vegetables with this super quick and delicious salad from our stallholders Alex and My of Alex’s Enterprise at Bundall Farmers’ Market.
Soba Noodle Salad
- Boil noodles for 3 minutes, drain and rinse under cold water
- Mix through any veggies you like
- Dress with a mixture of soy, sesame oil, sesame seeds, mirin, sake, rice wine vinegar, ginger, garlic and the juice of an orange
